Double Chamber Graphitization Furnace

This equipment is a graphitization furnace that can raise the temperature up to 2500℃ or higher at inert gas atmosphere of atmospheric or reduced pressure. It is composed of a charging/cooling chamber and a heating chamber, and the charging/cooling chamber has a temperature ranging from room temperature to 600℃ while the heating chamber ranging from 600 to 2500℃. The samples are moving from the charging/cooling chamber → the heating chamber → the charging/cooling chamber in a vacuum or nitrogen atmosphere. sequentially being dried, heat treated, and cooled naturally or in forced nitrogen flow.

Features

  • Reduce the total process
    time to less than 1/2 by forced
    cooling with nitrogen circulation
    at the 600℃ to RT cooling step.

  • Save energy consumption by
    maintaining the temperature of
    the heating chamber above 600℃,
    without the cycle of RT to 600℃.

  • Extend the life of expensive
    furnace materials such as heaters
    and insulation by blocking the
    heating chamber’s contact with external air.

  • Prevent contamination of
    the heating chamber by moisture,
    binder or etc. through using
    the charging/cooling chamber as a
    drying or de-waxing chamber.
